Microsoft has released a new beta version of Microsoft Security Essentials, the free anti-malware tools that debuted last year when MS decided to mothball Windows Live OneCare.

The latest beta version is now available on Microsoft Connect is integrated with the Windows Firewall and Internet Explorer for web-base malware protection and also has a  new protection engine and network inspection system.

As this is only a limited beta version, it is availabe for download in English on a firstcome-first serve basis.
